Honda Crosstour Receives a Redesign for 2013

The New York Auto Show is coming up soon, and automakers continue to make announcements about vehicles they will be debuting at the show. One example is Honda, which recently announced it will showcase a newly redesigned Honda Crosstour. The Crosstour was labeled as the Honda Accord Crosstour for two years before it simply became "Crosstour" for the 2012 model year.

The Honda Crosstour is a tall wagon version of the standard Honda Accord sedan that features all-wheel-drive and a lengthened ride height. It also delivers more all-weather capability and more sporty utility than the standard Accord, however drivers will lose a little cargo space because of its height. Cabin space doesn't suffer at all though; the Crosstour has roomy seating for both drivers and passengers and boasts a quiet ride, as well.

As far as fuel economy ratings go, the Crosstour is best on the highway, where it achieves 27 mpg. In the city, it gets up to 18 mpg. This year's starting price is $27,655, and consumers should see similar numbers for the 2013 Honda Crosstour model.

There are very few details surrounding the redesigned Crosstour, but we should be receiving some updates soon, and the NY Auto Show is just around the corner, so be sure to stay tuned here with University Honda, located at 4343 Chiles Road Davis, CA 95618. We'll provide updates as soon as they become available, but in the meantime, be sure to stop by and check out our current 2012 Crosstour selection today!
