The Honda Civic Type R Concept Makes World Premiere at 2014 Geneva Motor Show

The Honda Civic Type R Concept has been called a, "racing car for the road" by its own team of engineers. The Type R's exterior has been designed with the sole purpose of substantially improving the car's on-track performance.

For those reasons and many more, the Type R's highly anticipated world premiere was met with great fervor and excitement across the automotive industry.

Here at University Honda, we're proud to say that the Civic Type R Concept certainly did not disappoint.

The prototype features a brand new VTEC Turbo engine from Earth Dreams that's expected to generate a class-leading 276 horsepower.

Check out the video below to see Honda take the wraps off the new Type R.

The production model of the Type is expected to go on sale in Europe in the next year. In the meantime, come down to our Sacramento, CA to test drive a new 2014 Honda model.
