Planning for Your Next Big Road Trip

The best time to plan for trouble on the way to your destination is before you even leave the house. The following road safety tips should help you to get to where you are going without having too much to worry about:

  • Be sure that you back a box with some tools that could come in handy if you were to break down. These tools include a hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, socket set, and adjustable wrench.
  • Take along a can or two of fix-a-flat in case you experience trouble with the tires.
  • Put a gallon of engine coolant in the trunk in case your car overheats on that long drive.
  • Pack a few road flares to warn other drivers in the event you get stranded on the side of the highway.
Stop by our service center for a pre-road-trip checkup so we can make sure your ride is ready for the long journey.
